Abstainers Are Killers?
Portland, Maine found itself in the national spotlight on the morning of October 17. The King Middle School was debating whether to provide birth control to sixth graders without their parents’ consent or knowledge – not just condoms, but even birth control pills or contraceptive patches. ABC’s "Good Morning America" picked up the story, with anchor Diane Sawyer first professing shock at the young ages involved, but then echoing the proponents’ justification: Children “are caught in the changing worlds of early puberty and sexual messages everywhere."
That’s the line that rings in the ear. ABC is addressing a social problem: how to deal with middle-schoolers wanting to have sex because they’re inundated with sexual messages in ads, in music videos, with sexual themes endlessly discussed and dramatized on television? Sawyer invited on talk show host Glenn Beck and “sexologist” Logan Levkoff (promoted by fans as the ”Get It On Guru”) to debate it. Sawyer asked Levkoff "Would you draw the line anywhere? What if it were grade school?" Amazingly, she replied: "I don’t necessarily draw the line, because we’re in a world where we get so many sexual messages."
Levkoff lives in a parallel universe. We are talking about little boys and little girls, 11 years old.
The lesson from the anything-goes crowd is so illogical it borders on the obscene. In order to "protect the youth" from unsavory sexual messages, we should provide them will all the technology so they can have "safe sex" – even at age 11. But who is responsible for this bombardment of sexual messaging in our culture that’s fueling this fire? ABC and all the other networks, along with many of their advertisers, need look no further than the mirror. More than any other element in our society, it is they who are responsible for the deluge, primarily – though not exclusively – through their entertainment products.
It’s bad enough that they refuse to take any responsibility for their own sleazy product. But what’s unconscionable is that TV dramatists are now portraying those who want to keep children free and safe from premature sexual activity as mentally disturbed, even as a social menace.
The swaggering shysters of ABC’s "Boston Legal" went to court on October 9 on behalf of a high-school girl who contracted the HIV virus from "unprotected" sex with a boy. The girl in this script sued not the infecting boy, not the boy’s parents – but the high school which taught abstinence-only sex education.
The school’s crime was its failure to advance the righteousness of the Almighty Condom, which the “Boston Legal” lawyer ridiculously claimed was "arguably, the single most important invention of the past 2,000 years." Resistance to pop culture and peer pressure is futile, he argued. "They’re simply going to do it! We all do it. Birds do it, bees do it, educated fleas do it. One time unprotected sex can kill you. A condom can save you." With a flourish, the lawyer concluded his sermon: "We should be in criminal court this very moment trying this obscenely duplicitous school for conspiracy to commit murder."
ABC only suggested murder as a rhetorical device. CBS took it to the next level. On its drama "Cold Case," abstinence advocates are presented as killers. In the September 30 episode, detectives were investigating a 1998 murder, only to discover the devoutly Christian teens in the "Hearts Wait" abstinence club turned out to be sexually active hypocrites who murdered one of their own members to keep their sins secret. When the victim tried to convince her club mates that their teenage lust was understandable, they responded by denouncing her as "dirty," a "whore," a "slut," and the B-word before stoning her to death, while citing the Old Testament. Their leader, a youth minister, had one student confess her teenage lust for him with her back turned, so he could pleasure himself as she spoke.
The idea that Christian teenagers stone people to death could only come from a fevered brain in Tinseltown. In terms of cultural politics, this is simply mudslinging – a vile smear that requires no troublesome facts as it points an accusatory finger.
The get-it-on gurus who push “protection” are really encouraging sex between children. Like Hollywood, “sexologists” like Levkoff see themselves waging war “on a culture that condemns all things sexual.” But they’re really waging a war on anyone who suggests a limitation, anyone who wants to draw a line. Anyone who wants a child to wait, to grow and mature before leaping into bed or a back seat, is evil, deeply sick, and even capable of murder.
Meanwhile, the King School in Portland, Maine voted Yes to secret contraceptives for 11-year-olds.

Part of what they’re saying is true. The media used to be much more responsible in the content of their programs because people got outraged by sexual content and violence. Their answer to that was ratings. Cable TV has added another problem with that. I can also remember when the governor of our state banned playing "Louie, Louie" at school dances. Kids are really getting double edged messages these days. As long as sex sells, it will continue to be a problem. The blame can also be placed on those who watch the programs and listen to the music that make kids think sex makes the world go around. If it doesn’t sell in the media, it will be replaced by something else.

TRUE OR FALSE???

Why I believe Islam and Islamic belief are false.

1 WHAT IS ISLAM

The word islam means submission.
Islam is a system of beliefs originated by Muhammad who lived in Arabia from 570 to 633 AD.
Central to this belief system is the claim by Muhammad that he believed the angel Gabriel appeared to him in a cave at Hira situated a few miles from Mecca in the month of Ramadan in 610 AD when he was 40 years of age.

The material from this claim and subsequent numerous repeated appearances of Gabriel to Muhammad revealing the words of Allah was recorded in a 114 chapter document named the Qur’an.

Further material was recorded in the Hadith which is a compilation of witnessed accounts of what Muhammad said during his life after 610 AD. The most authoritative and complete version of the Hadith was compiled by Sahih Bukhari (also known as Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Ismail bin Ibrahim al-Mughira al-Jafai) who lived some 200 years after the death of Muhammad.

Muhammad’s first vision involved the presence of what Muhammad thought was the angel Gabriel pressing him three times and on each release, commanding him to read. After which the angel said,
“Read in the name of your Lord. Who creates.
He created man from a clot.
Read, by your most generous Lord.
Who taught by the pen.
He taught man what he did not know.”
(Sura 96, verses 1-5 of Al-Qur’an)

Subsequently, Muhammad reported another vision. He saw what he thought was the same angel who appeared to him in the cave at Hira, sitting on a chair between the earth and the sky. He was terrified and returned home and told Khadija, his first wife, “Wrap me” After which, he claimed that Allah revealed to him the following verses of the Qur’an:
“O Enrobed one.
Arise and warn.
Glorify your Lord.
And purify your garments.
And abandon abomination.”
(Sura 74, verses 1-5 of Al-Qur’an)

I believe Muhammad sincerely believed that he actually saw the angel Gabriel. However, I believe that the angel was not Gabriel. I believe the angel was a demon, probably Satan himself.

I believe Muhammad was deceived by a demon who subsequently possessed his mind, changed him and made use of him to deceive mankind into worshipping a pagan idol named Allah in place of the one true God of Abraham called El ( El-Elyon, Elohim).

2 WHO IS ALLAH

Some 3000 years BC, in the Tigris and Euphrates river basin, there was an ancient civilization called Sumer, with its people called Sumerians.

From archaeological findings of cuneiform engravings, there was a pagan idol named Lil. The name was subsequently modified to Enlil as well as Ramman-ilani.

This Ramman idol was transported via trade routes to India to become the Brahman of Vedic literature, subsequently forming the Hindu religion.

The pagan idol remaining in the land of origin became known as Baal of Babylon. By trade route spread, this pagan idol became arabicised into the name Al-ilah. Al-ilah also had a consort pagan idol named Al-ilat.

With time, Al-ilah became shortened to Al-lah and then Allah.

The name Allah became known as the generic name for god.

The consort Al-ilat became known as Al-lat. Al-lat is one of the pagan idols found in the Ka’bah shrine in Mecca referred to in the Satanic verses of Sura 53 of the Qur’an.

Hence the name Allah is not the same name used by Abraham for God which should be El. Even the name of Abraham’s son from Hagar is named after El as Ishma-

Private industry and the government (with the help of Madison Ave, Hollywood and the MSM) have been peddling feminist Ms Information for years and it seems women bought it hook line and sinker.

Feminists selling their latest books portrayed men as monsters and traditional long term heterosexual relationships as oppression. Women rushed out to buy these books and to follow their advice.

Advice gurus like Dr Phil and Oprah Winfrey dominate the airwaves, telling women how to handle relationships. Like Oprah has any personal experience of successful heterosexual relationships!! And as if Dr Phil knows anything about how real men think . . .

Ads portraying men as idiots or a**holes are aimed at persuading women to buy overpriced consumer garbage. And these ads work.

Government encouraged women to enter the workforce in large numbers because this increased the tax base and made the GDP seem bigger. Gloria Steinem worked for the CIA, which funded Ms Magazine. Women went for Ms Steinem’s views on life.

Private industry encouraged women to go to work outside the home so they could have two workers for the price of one from every family. Women agreed this was a great idea.

In other words, feminists of various hues have encouraged women to hate on their menfolk, abandon their families and work for strangers for cheap. Men who had reservations were demonized as sexist pigs.

The question is, were these traditional men so wrong?
Trevor,

Thanks for your answer and for confusing me with Eoghan, which I take as a high compliment.

"You are feeling the pinch of losing some power as a white heterosexual man and no-one wants to remove all your power."

That old line surely has to be running out of steam by now, Trevor?

Do you really believe that anybody who has a problem with feminism is afraid of losing their "power"?

What power do you think I have? I work for a female boss and have had nothing but female educators most of the way. My wife can kick me out of our home whenever she feels like calling a lawyer, in which case I will be lucky to see my own children every other weekend.

You are living in an era that hasn’t existed for decades!
"Oprah might not be an expert on relationships but she isn’t a lesbian, if that’s what you’re implying. I guess a lot of men want women to do nothing but be house wives so they can continue to claim that men contributed far more to society and technology than women did. Or women never invented anything. Or say things like "Without men women would still be living in caves." They prefer to think this is because women have no abilities, not because they spent most of their time being house wives."

Green,

I didn’t say Oprah is a lesbian. I just said that she has no personal experience of healthy long term heterosexual relationships and is in no position to give millions of women advice on the topic.

And for the record, I am not advocating a return to the past. I don’t think it is possible, partly because fewer young men want to be financially responsible for any woman for the rest of their lives.

I accept that things have changed. I’m just wondering how we got here.
"Feminism started because women were being mistreated. Men were allowed to beat their wives because the women were the men’s "property" and men could do what they wanted with them."

Not quite. That’s what the movement for women’s rights was about. Feminism is another matter entirely.
Thanks, Doodlebug. I didn’t actually know that and even I am shocked, which is sad as I am quite cynical already.
"And as far as Trevor living in another era: YOU are the one that asked the question and started griping about women. You get what you pay for, dude."

Rachel B, I am having difficulty understanding your argument. I asked about feminism. Trevor answered (as he usually does) by saying the only reason a man could have a problem with feminism is that he fears losing all that "white heterosexual male power" or whatever. My counterpoint was that I have no power to lose.

And your argument is what? Asking a question about feminism proves that I am a powerful white heteorsexual male after all? Or calling feminism into question proves that I live in the same era as Trevor?

Please enlighten me further.

I say:
Untrue: This is a paranoid notion. It is impossible for all the individual sectors to have colluded against you in this way. Society is changing and it is organic."

Trevor, I am not saying anybody colluded against me personally. That’s a little silly. Do you deny that the government, private industry etc. supported the movement for their own reasons? If not, what is your argument?
"You said:

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

I say:
Untrue:
The advent of quick-fix talk TV is indicative of what ails society in that it is going through change and change hurts. Some talk TV gurus advocate change and some are traditional and most are entertainment fodder and not indicative of anything that important. Oprah and Dr Phil and Judge Judy admit they are entertainment TV and the consumer dictates what is listend to – not the TalkTV host."

But are you denying that women act on advice from Oprah and Dr Phil every day? Or that the reason for their popularity is that millions of women tune in? I don’t really get your point here.
"You said
>>>>>>>> "Feminists selling their latest books portrayed men as monsters and traditional long term heterosexual relationships as oppression. Women rushed out to buy these books and to follow their advice" <<<<<<<<<<

I say:
Untrue:
The heterosexual white anglo saxon male stranglehold on society had to be dismantled in the same way whites had to be stopped from enslaving blacks. It is no different."

Trevor, Now it’s "heterosexual white anglo saxon male" that were the bad guys? I guess I’m OK since I’m not Anglo Saxon. Whew! Lucky for me I don’t fall on the wrong side of your cliched, oversimplified morality play.
"You said:

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Untrue:
I say:
This is not the case: It is obvious there was an imbalance of power between genders and race and people over different cultures throughout the centuries and society is redressing that now as we speak."

Trevor, are you really saying it is "untrue" that traditonal men were demonized as "sexist pigs," that feminists of various hues have encouraged women to hate on their menfolk, abandon their families and work for strangers for cheap?"

Based on what evidence?
"thank you trevor – very good."

Trevor done good. Give him a bone.

A lot of scary stuff about feminism is an open secret. For example, the fact that the UN are promoting the rabidly anti-male law in India that can have a man imprisoned for a year for insulting any female relative: "The Lawyers Collective, one of the groups that led the campaign [to create the 2006 domestic violence laws] will now use a grant by the UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women to help the Indian legal system adjust the ways it handles domestic abuse cases" http://www.unifem.org/gender_issues/voices_from_the_field/story.php?StoryID=543
This is the law they are promoting http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/asia/article614140.ece
The UN are also set to begin promoting the sexist VAWA in 20 countries too.

But the global conspiracy gets worse: soap operas are designed by psychologists in the US to produce feminist behaviour in viewers in India!! Here is a report on how effective this propaganda has been

http://www3.interscience.wiley.com/journal/119330571/abstract?

In other words, the US and UN are working in India covertly promoting feminism through the TV and creating radical feminist laws there too. Wtf??? If I was an Indian guy I would be outraged, not only because of the promotion of sexism but because a foreign government was interfering with my country.

Its no secret that feminism has got backing in very high places. But I have to stop and wonder: how the hell did they get so well connected in such a short space of time??

I opened it again in it’s proper place and it stayed open for two days. A moderator and charter members even joined in. It was closed again due to wrong category, I complained and they asked if I would like it moved instead of closed. I said yes, it was moved and reopened by the moderator. Then I opened a new conversation:

Title: The Click 101-Impressions vs. Clickthroughs and why you should click

Getting your name out is tough these days. Raising enough funds for an excellent ad campaign can be exhaustive
and making money off ads on your site without a airtight campaign is near impossible. Even search engine optimization
(that creates sites that look like they were designed by mindless robots)to get a good page rank becomes less and less
effective every time an engine gets updated.

However, the system is flawed. Corporate America and the Advertising gurus have made an undeniable mistake, assumption.
They assumed they could impress images and words about their products and ideas into the minds of the masses
(approximately 90% of the time)without anyone clicking through.

That’s exactly what a impression is, an impression on your brain. A clickthrough is you clicking on a ad. They bet
that the average human being will not click on the ads due to the speed of life, jealousy and other massive internal
problems in Society as a whole. What does this do for them? It raises tons of money for companies selling adspace,
which they make off of impressions(micro pennies on the dollar)while providing an inexpensive solution for their
corporate(giant ants) clientele(5 million dollars for 5 billion impressions is a great deal for these money masters.).

Meanwhile, millions of visited sites created by common citizens are being exploited. They pour their hearts and souls
into these sites so that the masses(they hope)will enjoy their works. Then these diligent, hardworking little ants try to
find a way to eat. Uh oh, here comes corporate America(giant ants)with some good news, "You can put our names and images
on the face of every page in your entire web body and if somebody clicks on us we’ll pay you a quarter." The little
ant(common citizen)replied, "Wow, big brother, a Quarter, if I get three of those I can get a candy bar, thanks!" The
little ants put their(big bother ant’s)ads up and are immediately deemed sellouts by the crowd. Whether it be a nascar
racer with too many stickers on his helmet, or a boxer, with Larry’s Hardware on his a$$, that has no heart. The real
sellouts are the manipulated masses that allow inexpensive to nearly free brainwashing through and by big brother
ant(Corporate America) impressions.

Here’s the solution, exploit Corporate America back. Click on at least two ads or more that you see on every site you
visit that allows you to absorb the little ants(common citizens)juices for free. Who cares if you’re interested in what
the ad that you’re clicking on has to offer(these ads are still impressing into your brain, make them pay for those
impressions)? Click, click, click, was that so hard(It’s self satisfying and fun too!) Don’t worry, corporate America
will survive. Even if some of the old players get removed by the board and are replaced by new players. There’s still
a board and it’s ok if some of the little ants become big ants and vice versa, just don’t tick off the Anteater! So,
join The Click and play the game. There’s no membership required!Click, click, click! [close/]

It has gone into the shackles of the politically correct.
