How to Reduce your Adwords Costs?
No matter how many gurus you ask, you will always get a different answer to this question: how do I reduce my Adwords campaigns and max out earning potential?
Some experts will say that the best way to optimize your campaigns is to bid on high amounts of keywords in hope to get many clicks. This is a totally false direction, and will definitely break your budget. The optimal way that’s always working for me is to research my keywords for 90% of my daily “work” time, and then use the 10% to set up a campaign.
You see, I never have more than 5-6 keywords which I bid on, and it always works. Why ? Because of the impressions. By eliminating the keywords which don’t have the earning potential, or the keywords which are not highly relevant to the product or service you are selling, you are eliminating “bad impressions” and raising your CTR (click-through-rate). This way your ads will get higher on search engine rankings, and you will be able to lower your bid amounts.
Make sure that the keywords you pick are highly relevant and targeted. If you’re just starting, you probably don’t have thousands of dollars for your campaigns, and that’s what gurus alway forget to tell you, because they do have that. Even to this day, I rarely set my daily budget over $10 for 1 campaign. By targeting specific keywords you will reduce the cost of your clicks, which will increase the chance of you selling something. Just be sure to laser-target the keywords you want to bid on.
Don’t just stuff in keywords. It can cost you alot of money by getting untargeted visitors. By applying these simple principles, you’ll be able to reduce your advertising costs and get more targeted visitors which results in more sales.

How to reduce my google adwords cost per click to $0.10?
I am trying out google adwords for the first time and well I find it so expensive and a bit confused whether I am doing something wrong.
I used the Google keyword tool to generate some keywords. Chose those that were estimated Avg. CPC to be about $0.11.
But they were not activated with a comment asking me to raise minimum bid to $15.
I don’t quite understand why when it is only estimated $0.11 per click and yet asking for $15 now. Can you help tell me why or what I am doing wrong? Or is it a standard thing to ask for $15?
Also I obliged to $15 minimum bid and its been two days and still not a single click. I believe $15 is a way expensive bid and yet I don’t seem to be gaining any traffic.
Btw is the $15 amount for per click or wat? What am I doing wrong?
The keywords for reference:
1. free targeted website traffic
2. increase web site traffic for free
3. free traffic to my website
Do advice please. Your help greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I have a lot of experience marketing small companies online (I have 3 companies). One of the best ways is to sign up at business directories and protals. These are basically listings of businesses (simliar to the phone book). The advantage is that these portals usually get a lot of traffic and they’re ranked high on Google because of all the quality links they contain.
My favorite portal is called Directory Exclusive. I signed up a few weeks ago because they’re giving a away a free business card holder when a person enter’s their company info. I received it in the mail 3 days ago =)
I don’t know if they still have that promotion, but you can try to get the free card holder here:

Google determines the value of the words - and you can’t make it any lower than that or - if it’s a really popular word or phrase, you have to bid higher or your company ad won’t show up on the first, 2nd, 3rd or 15th page - and if they say $15 - it must mean $15 per click, so choose diffeent cheaper words
