This are all country, never heard of them until today but i have been to st pual/minneapolis MN, kansa city, overland park KS, atlanta, athens, GA. and they are beautiful but very big and nothing like historical or nature.

    Nebraska City is quite a nice town. The J. Sterling Morton house is an interesting visit as is Arbor Day Farms. The Lied Lodge there offers nice accommodations. There are a number of golf courses in the area as well.

    I’ve only been through Vermilion (home to South Dakota State University if I remember right) and Blair but couldn’t tell you what to see there. Independence, MO is on the east side of Kansas City and there must be a ton of stuff to do there. Historically there is the Harry Truman Presidential Library but as I recall Independence has a pretty cool mall too off Interstate 70.
